Burrell High School is a public school in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, that teaches grades 9 through 12. The Burrell School District only has this one high school. There are about 700 to 750 students at the school, and the student-to-teacher ratio is about 15:1. This makes it easier for teachers to give each student individual attention and get them involved. Burrell High School offers a lot of different academic programs, like Advanced Placement® classes and tests. Around 30% of students take AP classes, which lets them learn at the college level. The school also helps students get ready for college by giving them the SAT and ACT tests, academic advice, and fun things to do. The main things that students learn are the basics of school, how to think critically, and how to get ready for college and other paths. There are about 8% of the students who are minorities, and about 38% of the students can get help with money. In the school year 2025–2026, reports show that about 42% of students are good at math and 63% are good at reading. This shows how students' grades have changed over time. Burrell High School is in a suburban area, which is a nice place to be.
