About Seneca HS

Seneca High School is a public high school in Erie, Pennsylvania that teaches students in grades 9 through 12. It is the only high school in the Wattsburg Area School District. With about 700 to 750 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 15:1, the school can give each student personalized attention and create a learning environment where everyone works together. Seneca High School offers a full academic program, with Advanced Placement® classes and tests. About 12% of students take AP classes, which lets them study at the same level as college students. Students also get help with college counseling, taking the SAT and ACT, and doing things that will help them get ready for college and their future jobs. About 6% of the students are minorities, and the rest are White. About half of the students can get help with money through programs. According to reports for the 2025–2026 school year, about 92% of students are good at math, which means they are doing well in important academic areas. The school is in the suburbs, which is good because families and the community are involved.
