Bensalem Township High School is the only high school in the Bensalem Township School District. It is a public school that serves grades 9–12 in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The school has about 2,000 to 2,100 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 16:1, which allows for both individualized and group learning. Bensalem Township High School has a lot of different academic programs, like Advanced Placement® classes and tests. About 20% of students take AP classes, which lets them study at the same level as college students. Students can also take the SAT and ACT tests, as well as get academic counseling and enrichment programs that help them get ready for college and their careers. The school serves a community where all students can get help with their money, and about 53% of the students are from minority groups. For the 2025–2026 school year, reported proficiency levels show that about 20% of students are good at math and 63% are good at reading. This gives us an idea of how well they are doing in school. Bensalem Township High School is in a suburban area and focuses on academics, getting students involved, and getting them ready for college or a job.

Bensalem Township High School is very excited! The school recently welcomed Mrs. Chelsea Root as the first person to win the $1000 NextUp Transition Program Scholarship. She thought of putting lockers on campus that could be picked up at any time of day or night to make things easier for students. The school is also putting on a number of events, like the FIRST Tech Challenge Event and the BHS Hall of Fame Induction, to honor students' achievements and get the community involved.
