Recently, Westmoore High School celebrated a number of students who became National Merit Semifinalists. This shows how serious the school is about academics. A new multipurpose student center has been built on campus. It is a place for student groups to meet and for students to work together on projects. The Jaguar robotics team also made it to the regional championships after a successful season showing off their creative engineering designs.
