About Western Heights Hs

Western Heights High School is a public high school in Oklahoma City that serves students in grades 9 through 12. It is the only high school in the Western Heights district and serves about 850 students with a full range of educational programs. The school has about 17 students for every teacher, and it is known for its dedication to academic growth, with 16% of students taking Advanced Placement® classes. The science labs at Western Heights High School have been updated with new technology to help with advanced biology and chemistry research. The school just started a full internship program that connects students with businesses in the Oklahoma City area so they can learn about real-world careers. The Western Heights Band also got high marks at the most recent state music festival, which shows how strong the school's performing arts department is.
