Students are registered in specialized “law-themed” courses, such as Advanced Legal Topics and Forensics, and a mandatory AP for All program that requires all 11th graders to take advanced AP US History, Language, and Composition courses. The school has expanded its partnerships with legal professionals, providing students opportunities to participate in mock trials, debate competitions and trips to federal courthouses. Ninth grade students are involved in an extended day program which assists them in transitioning to high school and offers academic advisement.
