The Young Women’s Leadership School – Astoria has expanded its leadership and mentorship opportunities around academic achievement, civic engagement and career exploration. The students participated in STEM activities, community service projects and college readiness workshops. The young women also benefit from other enrichment programs that promote confidence-building and leadership development.
