Midwood High School is also working to implement New York State’s class size reduction plan, with more than 50% of classes already reduced to no more than 25 students and junior and senior classes prioritized to make sure that teachers can give more individual attention. The school’s Parent Association elected its 2025-2026 Executive Board, chaired by Co-Presidents Nicole Tu and Geraldine Beauvil, and planned monthly meetings in-person and virtually to keep families connected. Student Government officers for 2025-2026 are Midwood Mayor Ricardo Torres and Senior President Daniel Ghoprial, who lead efforts such as Club Pub Fair and SING.
