In September 2024, Khalil Gibran International Academy High School opened its doors at its new home at 80 Flatbush, giving students a modern campus after years of planning and construction. The dual-language school continues its Arabic language and culture program for grades 9-12. The building is fully accessible, and the school has School-Based Mental Health services through H+H Gotham. Teachers are integrating global studies and Middle Eastern culture across the curriculum, and the school provides free breakfast, lunch and after-school meals for all students. The new facility supports project-based learning and college readiness as KGIA serves Brooklyn's diverse community.
