Academy for College Prep and Career Exploration opened a new STEAM lab this year, thanks to Heart of America, State Farm, and the NBA. The lab gives students a dedicated space to explore, innovate and design projects aligned to the school’s college and career pathways. ACPCE also revived theater with its recent production of Exception to the Rule, featured live on News 12. Partnerships for work-based learning with companies such as Amazon, Jet Blue, Citibank and the Brooklyn Navy Yard continue to provide students with internships and paid experiences.
