Hostos-Lincoln Academy of Science has recently expanded its science and mathematics programs with the addition of enhanced laboratory instruction and research-based learning experiences. The school introduced new interdisciplinary STEM projects that connected biology, chemistry and environmental science. Real world scientific problems were the focus of experiments and investigations at a recent student science fair. College readiness efforts have also been strengthened by SAT prep support and advanced academic mentoring.
