Alexa, a student at Organ Mountain High School, was recently honored for her leadership and service as a student advisor to the Las Cruces Public Schools Board of Education. The school's visual arts program also had a great year, with Sarai Martinez and Mia Maes winning district awards for their 3-D and 2-D art, respectively. The campus is also taking part in the Spring 2026 Transition Initiative, which works with community groups to hold workshops that help students with disabilities and their families figure out what to do after high school.
