Margaret Collins, a senior, has been chosen as one of only two students from New Mexico to take part in the 64th annual United States Senate Youth Program in Washing to n, D.C. On National Signing Day, the school honored a number of student-athletes. Three football players, including star running back Danny Amaro, signed with New Mexico Highlands University. The district is also improving its athletic facilities, which will help Las Cruces High. For example, the track will be completely resurfaced.
