The school serves grades 9 through 12 and has about 1,350 students, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, and it is one of the best high school in New Hampshire. Recognized as one of the leading schools in the region, it provides students the opportunity to challenge themselves through Advanced Placement® (AP) coursework, with an 11% participation rate. The campus reflects a 13% minority enrollment, and the school offers robust support for the 33% of its student body identified as economically disadvantaged. According to performance data, 46% of students are good at reading and 26% are good at math. The school also holds SAT and ACT tests to help students get ready for college. Recently, Spaulding High School held a grand opening for its newly renovated "Red Raider Shop." This student-run s to re gives students a chance to learn about business and marketing in a real-life setting. The athletic department is also doing very well. The varsity wrestling and basketball teams both won big in the winter divisional championships. The school has also expanded its career-readiness programs by holding a series of special seminars for the junior class on trade apprenticeships and planning for college costs.
