About Merrimack High School

Merrimack High School is the best public school in Merrimack, New Hampshire. It's also the only high school in the Merrimack School District. The school can hold almost 1,100 students in grades 9 through 12 and has a student-to-teacher ratio of 11:1. It is known as one of the best schools in the state, with a 21% participation rate in Advanced Placement® (AP) classes, and it is one of the best high school in New Hampshire. 11% of the students are from minority groups, and 7% of them are low-income. When 56% of students are good at reading and 39% are good at math, the school is doing well academically. To help its older students get into college, the school gives them the SAT and ACT tests. Known as one of the finest schools for its strong community reputation and extracurricular breadth, Merrimack High School is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that emphasizes academic achievement, personal responsibility, and preparation for a competitive global landscape.

The school's performing arts department recently won awards for its winter show, which showed off the students' skills in both technical stagecraft and acting.
