The school has about 1,300 students in grades 9 through 12, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 12:1. Recognized as one of the leading schools in the Monadnock region, it provides a rigorous Advanced Placement® (AP) curriculum with a 27% participation rate, and it is one of the best high school in New Hampshire. Recently, Keene High School honored its career and technical education students, who won to p honors at a regional competition for excellence in culinary arts and au to motive technology. A new labora to ry space has also been built on campus to support advanced placement environmental science and robotics projects. The athletic department is also celebrating a successful winter season by sending several varsity teams to the state semifinals. They are also still very focused on community service projects.
