About Dover Senior High School

Dover Senior High School is a well-known public high school in Dover, New Hampshire. It is the only high school in the Dover School District. Enrolling approximately 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12, the school maintains a student-to-teacher ratio of 13:1. It is known as one of the best schools in the Seacoast area and has a strong curriculum that includes Advanced Placement® (AP) classes, which 21% of students take, and it is one of the best high school in New Hampshire. The campus reflects a diverse community with a 17% minority enrollment, while 22% of the student body is supported as economically disadvantaged. Dover High School recently added more Career and Technical Education classes by using advanced simulation technology in its health science and nursing programs. The school is also celebrating the success of its performing arts department. After a string of high-quality performances, the department was invited to show off its talent at a regional festival. The campus has also started a new student-led environmental project that focuses on sustainability. This project includes a new recycling and green-space project.
