About Concord High School

Concord High School is a top public school in Concord, New Hampshire. It is the only high school in the Concord School District. Accommodating nearly 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12, the school offers a personalized learning atmosphere with a student-to-teacher ratio of 12:1. It is known as one of the best schools in the state and offers a wide range of Advanced Placement® (AP) classes, with 18% of students taking them, and it is one of the best high school in New Hampshire. There are 19% of students who are minorities and 32% of students who are economically disadvantaged. According to academic proficiency data, 55% of students are good at reading and 28% are good at math. The school also facilitates SAT and ACT testing to assist with post-secondary transitions. Concord High School is known as one of the best schools because it has a lot of money and a good reputation in the community. Concord High School's "Running Start" program is currently growing successfully. It allows the most students ever to earn dual-enrollment college credits through partnerships with local community colleges. The school just finished updating its library media center, which is now a tech-rich space for students to work to gether on research and digital projects. The performing arts department is also getting ready for its next showcase. They just got a new grand piano, which was paid for by donations from the community to improve the music curriculum.
