Jefferson Senior High is a public high school in Bloomington, Minnesota. It is one of seven high schools in the Bloomington Public School District and serves grades 9–12. The school has about 1,600 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 16:1, which helps create a broad and well-rounded academic environment. Jefferson Senior High is known as one of the best schools because it focuses on getting students ready for college. It offers a lot of Advanced Placement® courses, and 53% of students take them. As part of their postsecondary planning, students can also take college readiness tests like the ACT and SAT. 57% of students are good at math, and 61% are good at reading/ELA. There are a lot of different kinds of students at the school. 40% of the students are minorities, and 30% of the students are low-income. The amount of money given to each student is in line with the district's averages for academic and instructional support. Overall, Jefferson Senior High is known as one of the best schools in the area. It has strong academic programs, a wide range of extracurricular activities, and a supportive learning environment that will help students succeed.

Jefferson Senior High's competition cheer team recently won its ninth national championship title, adding to the school's long history of athletic excellence. The school also opened a brand-new stadium, which held its first dedication ceremonies last fall to make the experience better for student-athletes. Several seniors were recently named finalists for the 2026 National Merit Scholarship program, which shows that they are doing very well in school.
