About Henry Ford II High School

Henry Ford II High School is a public high school in Sterling Heights, Michigan. It is part of the Utica Community Schools system and serves students in grades 9 through 12. There are five high schools in the district, and this is one of them. There are about 1,600 to 1,800 students at the school, and there are about 20 teachers for every 20 students. This helps make the learning environment more balanced. There are a lot of different academic choices at Henry Ford II High School, such as Advanced Placement (AP) tests and classes. About 48% of students are in AP classes. The main goal of the curriculum is to prepare students for college and careers. This is done through core academic classes, electives, and extracurricular activities. There are students from a wide range of backgrounds. Henry Ford II High School has a new Honors Program. The Liberal Arts building now has a high-tech "Honors Hub" where students can study, work together, and come up with new ideas. The program offers scholarships, lets students sign up early, and gives them more chances to do research and do better in school. The program lets students go to game days, alumni events, bowling, and other activities. They can also go to transfer events and field trips to colleges like the University of Michigan.
