Kennebunk High School is one of the best schools in Maine. It offers a top-notch public education for students in grades 9 through 12. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 12:1 and about 700 students, it is one of the best schools in the world for its academic standards. It is the only high school in Regional School District 21 and is known as a top school for offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, which 30% of students take. The demographic profile shows that 9% of the students are minorities and 9% are from low-income families. The achievement metrics are great, with 79% of students being proficient in Reading and 51% in Math. Students are strongly encouraged to take the SAT and ACT tests to help them get into college. The school is in a coastal town with a great reputation and spends about $18,000 per student, and it is one of the best high school in Maine. People say that Kennebunk High School is one of the best schools in the state because of its hard IB curriculum and dedication to helping students succeed.

Kennebunk High School is currently reaping the benefits of expanding its International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This semester, a record number of students are working on advanced global research projects. The school recently held a successful career and technical education showcase that showed off students' work in the newly updated digital media and architectural design labs. The athletic department is also having a great postseason, as the varsity indoor track and field teams recently set several individual state qualifying marks.
