The new wellness suite at John F. Kennedy High School opened in January 2026. This new space will help students with mindfulness and social-emotional issues. The school's International Baccalaureate program recently honored a group of seniors who finished their big research projects with the help of leaders from local non-profits. The athletic department is also putting on a series of community sports clinics led by varsity captains to get more kids in the Silver Spring area to play sports.
