Hammond High School just finished the last part of its big building renovation. For the 2026 school year, it will have new science labs and bigger spaces for students to work together. The school's music program did very well in recent regional evaluations, and several groups will be able to perform at the state level this spring. Also, the new career-readiness program has started holding guest seminars with local business experts to help seniors plan for life after graduation.
