See top schools in WorcesterNorth High is a public high school in Worcester, Massachusetts, that teaches students in grades 9 through 12. There are about 1,000 to 1,100 students at the school, which is in the Worcester Public Schools district. With a student-teacher ratio of about 13:1, classes are small and students can get help when they need it. North High has a full curriculum that includes core academic subjects, Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, electives, and activities outside of school like sports, clubs, and arts programs. The school offers programs to help students do better in school, get back on track with their credits, and get ready for college. About 10% of the students are good at math and about 24% are good at reading (ELA), according to the information we have. Students need to work on their academic skills in these two areas. Students can also get ready for tests like the SAT that they need to take to get into college. The student body is made up of people from many different backgrounds, just like the people who live in Worcester.
