In late December, Baystate Academy's girls basketball team beat Greenfield by a score of 40–31, which showed how competitive the Bulls are this season and boosted school pride in local sports. The performance shows that Baystate Academy is becoming more involved in high school sports in Springfield as the winter season heats up.
