About Plymouth South High

Plymouth South High School is a public high school in Plymouth, Massachusetts, that serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school has about 1,100 to 1,300 students, which makes it one of the two main high schools in the Plymouth Public Schools district. The number of staff and the size of the classes are in line with what is expected in suburban public schools, which helps provide consistent academic instruction and student services. The school has a full academic program with college-preparatory classes, Advanced Placement classes, and electives in the arts, technology, and career-related fields. The academic results are good, with about 44% of students being good at math and about 61% being good at reading. This is better than most districts. Funding for public schools pays for things like classroom instruction, academic resources, and services that help students. People think that the school is well-organized and helpful, with a focus on academic success and student involvement. Plymouth South High School does not include the SAT in its regular curriculum, but students can take it on their own.
