Northside High School recently got permission to spend $6.7 million on a new competition gym with 800 seats. This will improve the school's sports facilities. Rory Landry was also named Student of the Year for 2025–2026 for being a leader on campus. The Academy of Law and Government has also added new hands-on learning modules that let students take part in mock trials and civic workshops.
