The STEAM Academy is getting ready to move into a new, permanent building at the old Johnson Elementary School site. This will give students access to cutting-edge labs and design spaces. The school recently started a Project-Based Learning program with the University of Kentucky. This lets students work on engineering and design problems that happen in the real world. Also, students are taking part in new dual-credit pathways that stress mastery in the arts, science, technology, engineering, and math.
