Wichita East High School recently celebrated six students being named 2026 National Merit Semifinalists. This is an honor for high school seniors who got the best scores on the PSAT/NMSQT. Recent investments in safety have made the campus safer. For example, a new secured entrance has been built to make it easier and safer for all students to enter. The school's prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) program and AVID initiative are helping it reach more students and prepare them for success in college.
