Wayne High School is getting a lot of work done on it. A $48 million project is adding new buildings, such as a library, cafeteria, athletics wing, and administration wing. The school has also started the Schools of Success program, which links core academic subjects to real-world situations and career paths. Wayne High School has also won the Safe Sports School Award for being a safe place for student-athletes to be. The New Tech Academy at the school has also been chosen as a New Tech Network Spotlight School.
