There are about 1,900 to 2,100 students at the school, and there is one teacher for every 17 students. This makes it easier for students to get the help they need with their studies. There are a lot of different academic programs at William Henry Harrison High School, such as Advanced Placement® classes and tests. About 52% of students take AP classes, which shows how much the school wants to help students get ready for college. There are a lot of different kinds of students at the school. Almost half of them are minorities, and about 57% say they are economically disadvantaged. The academic performance indicators for the years 2025–2026 show that about 23% of students are good at math and about 38% are good at reading. There will be a big upgrade to the stadium at William Henry Harrison High School, including new high-performance turf. The work will start in the 2026 season. The Randall T. Shepard Academy for Law and Social Justice is another way that the school focuses on specialized academic tracks. It gives students unique pre-professional experiences in civil leadership. Also, students keep getting high honors. For example, several seniors were named 2026 Lilly Endowment Community Scholars for their dedication to school and community service.
