George Westinghouse College Prep has expanded its Early College STEM partnerships with City Colleges of Chicago to allow Warriors to earn dual credit and industry certifications in computer science, pre-engineering and biomedical pathways while still in high school. The East Garfield Park campus offers SAT preparation, Advanced Placement courses and a College and Career Center connecting students to university tours, FAFSA workshops and apprenticeships. Westinghouse scholars participate in robotics, SkillsUSA and health sciences programs that provide hands-on experience for careers in STEM. The school still has arts, athletics, and leadership clubs that provide a well-rounded path to graduation and postsecondary success.
