Rear Adm. Melvin Smith and Capt. Christopher Labissiere spoke to cadets about leadership, service and civic responsibility at Rickover Naval Academy’s graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 at the Copernicus Center. Adm. William J. Houston, Director of Naval Nuclear Propulsion, visited West Town campus and loaned Adm. The school’s congressional Gold Medal from Hyman G. Rickover, connecting cadets to the legacy of the Navy’s nuclear fleet. The academy’s college-prep curriculum continues with Advanced Placement classes, SAT preparation and dual credit. JROTC training, color guard and drill build discipline and teamwork.
