Excel Academy Englewood High school students built websites using HTML/CSS, explored coding and met with college recruiters at the High-Tech Chi Youth Summit at Google Chicago during Computer Science Education Week. The Bulls basketball team opened its season 5-0, earning conference victories over Chicago Collegiate and Chicago International Charter-Longwood Academy/Art in Motion with strong performances in steals and blocks. The school held its “Express Yourself” showcase, giving students and staff a chance to present poetry, music and visual art created in English and art classes.
