Aurora, Illinois' Waubonsie Valley High School is a public high school for grades 9–12. The Indian Prairie Community Unified School District 204 has three high schools, and this is one of them. There are about 2,600 students at the school, and there is one teacher for every 19 students. This helps make the school a structured and supportive place to learn. There are a lot of different kinds of students at the school, and about 65% of them are from minority groups. This shows that the school has students from a lot of different cultural and economic backgrounds. Waubonsie Valley High School offers a full range of classes, including Advanced Placement® classes and tests. About half of the students take AP classes. The school also teaches kids about careers, the fine arts, and sports. About 48% of students are good at math and 51% are good at reading/ELA, based on data from the 2025–2026 school year. The school also helps students get ready for college by letting them take the SAT and ACT. Waubonsie Valley High School is in a well-established suburban area of Aurora that is known for its safe neighborhoods and community services. It makes the learning environment more balanced.

Waubonsie Valley High School is getting a $68 million renovation that will include a new auditorium, better stadium facilities, and better safety measures. The auditorium is almost done being fixed up. It will have a new sound booth, lights, and seating. It should be ready in time for the winter concert. The school is also adding new academic paths, such as Project Lead the Way (PLTW) programs, which have helped the school get the Distinguished School award.
