Timberline High School is a top public high school in Boise, Idaho, for students in grades 9 through 12. It is known as one of the best schools in the state, and it has a tough academic program with a 68% Advanced Placement® participation rate. With 24% of its students being minorities and about 11% of its students being economically disadvantaged, the school encourages a wide range of learning styles. The school has great academic results, with 73% of students being proficient in reading and 52% being proficient in math, and it is one of the best High School in "Idaho" . Timberline High School is one of the best schools for balancing high-level academics with fun extracurricular activities. It is a top member of the Boise Independent District. Focused college entrance exam readiness helps students get ready for college. Principal Chad Wright led Timberline High School in to the 2025–2026 school year. He was recently named Idaho Secondary School Principal of the Year for his work to make the school a more welcoming place for everyone. The campus was also named to the 2025 AP School Honor Roll for making Advanced Placement courses more available and helping students get ready for college and beyond. Also, students are benefiting from the recent addition of creative curriculum resources that are meant to help all kinds of learners get systematic and responsive instruction.

Ans. Yes, students work on projects and do things that help them learn skills they can use in the real world.
Q2. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
Ans. Yes, Timberline High School lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.
Q3. Are there chances for peer mentoring?
Ans. Of course, yes! Older kids can teach younger kids how to be leaders, work together, and help each other.
Q4. What can students do to get help with their homework?
Ans. Tutoring, advice, and counseling help students figure things out and do well in school.
Q5. Are there programs that help kids stay fit?
Ans. Of course! Timberline High School helps students' mental, emotional, and social health by giving them counseling and wellness programs.
