In 2026, the Idaho high school system shows some growth. The graduation rate of the state is 82.3%, which is at its highest level in 10 years. The increase is attributed in part to decreased class size and almost universal access to dual credits and career certificates in many parts of the state. The overall proficiency levels of the state are quite low (less than 45% in both mathematics and science). With the largest high schools of Nevada being known for their rigorous academic curriculum, significant graduation rates, and higher than average level of participation in advanced placement and advanced/extended opportunity programming, the best high schools in Nevada are able to provide a variety of programs that prepare students for college and for in-demand careers.
