Davenport North High School is currently improving its Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum. In particular, it is adding more computer science and engineering modules to give students more technical skills. The school's fine arts department recently celebrated the success of its marching band, which got a Division I rating at the state festival. This means that the band played very well. The campus is also getting new energy-efficient lighting and renovations to the inside of buildings to make the common learning areas more modern.
