About Kendrick High School

Kendrick High School is a public school in Columbus, Georgia that teaches students in grades 9 through 12. The Muscogee County School District includes it. There are about 1,000 to 1,200 kids who go to this school. There are about 16 students for every teacher, which means that everyone gets a lot of structured help and targeted instruction in the classroom. A lot of our students come from minority backgrounds, and a lot of their families are having money problems. Only about 1% of kids are good at math, and only 12% are good at reading. This really shows how much we need to improve our intervention programs, tutoring, and teaching those basic skills. This money helps pay for teachers, programs to make things better, and support for students. Kids in Georgia take Milestones tests, and through school programs, they can also sign up for college entrance tests like the SAT and ACT. Kendrick High School is very interested in helping students do well in school.
