Westland Hialeah Senior High School's new programs are really helping it move forward! The school's health sciences magnet program is doing well. It teaches students the basics of first aid, nursing, and medical assisting through hands-on activities. Principal Giovanna Blanco is excited to add a new robotics program next year, which will make the school's STEM programs even better. The school's dual enrollment program also lets students get an Associate of Arts degree while they are still in high school.
