The Polk County Sheriff's Regional Detention Center's educational program has recently added a better diagnostic assessment system to make Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs) that are very specific to each student. This program is proactive and makes sure that any gaps in teaching are filled right away. In this way, students can keep making steady progress toward the state's academic goals. The facility also focuses on high-quality teaching standards that help students stay on track to get their credits back and finish school on time.
