Bridgeport Military Academy is getting ready to move to a new, modern building on the south end of the city. The new building will improve the school's specialized first-responder and leadership programs. New programs for peer collaboration and mentorship for both teachers and students are examples of recent changes at schools that aim to make the campus culture more welcoming. The academy also still puts a lot of emphasis on getting involved in the community. Recently, it hosted forums to strengthen ties with local service organizations and other important groups.
