Recently, Sylmar Biotech Health and Engineering Magnet got the Linked Learning Gold Certification, which is a big deal because it shows how well the school incorporates biotechnology and engineering into its core subjects. The San Fernando Valley's only medical simulation lab is giving students a lot of real-world experience. They also recently went on professional field trips to the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center to learn about careers in healthcare.
