The completion of its state-of-the-art campus expansion, which includes the opening of a new gymnasium and specialized student housing, was a major milestone for Samueli Academy. The Engineering and Design pathways at the academy are helping to improve the project-based learning model. In these pathways, students use a newly upgraded maker space with cutting-edge 3D printing and robotics technology. The school's work-based learning program has also set up a number of new internships with local businesses, giving students the chance to get professional advice and real-world work experience.
