Pioneer High School just opened its new performing arts center, which has better seating and sound to support the school's award-winning music and drama programs. The campus is currently working on a new Sustainability Initiative that includes putting in charging stations powered by solar energy and having students lead habitat restoration projects in the outdoor learning areas. This month, the guidance department is also holding special College Essay Workshops to help seniors with their university applications by giving them one-on-one editing help.
