The Latino College Preparatory Academy recently added to its bilingual academic support by starting a new after-school tutoring program that focuses on advanced math and reading. The students are getting ready for the Spring Community Showcase, where they will show off projects that focus on cultural heritage and leadership development. The academy has also strengthened its dual-enrollment partnership with San Jose City College, which lets juniors and seniors earn college credits that can be used at other schools while still meeting their high school requirements.
