Branham High School is one of the best schools in San Jose, California, and it serves about 1,900 students in grades 9 through 12. It has a student-to-teacher ratio of about 22:1, which is typical for a large campus in the Campbell Union High School District. The school is known for being one of the best for academic rigor, and it has a large Advanced Placement program with a 59% participation rate. The student body is diverse, with 63% of students being minorities and 31% being economically disadvantaged. Branham High School has a high level of academic success, with 80% of students being able to read and 55% being able to do math. Branham High School is currently hosting "Spread the Love Week," a series of events that focus on school spirit. These events include "Pink Day" and other student-led activities to help people connect with each other. The College and Career Center is currently holding its February 2026 series of presentations, which give juniors and seniors personalized help with choosing a major and making the switch to community college. The performing arts department is also getting ready for the Winter Guard CCGC Championships and the Jazz Cafe event, which will show off the school's award-winning music and art programs.
