Being Updated
Mountain View High School was recently named a 2025 Model Continuation High School, making it one of only four schools in Riverside County to get this honor. The California PBIS Coalition also gave the campus a Platinum level certification for its outstanding work in putting positive behavior interventions and supports into place. The school is also adding more Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways and giving out innovative learning grants to get students involved in real-world projects that go beyond the classroom.

Ans. The school offers an alternative education option for students who need more flexibility in their schedules and ways to make up missed credits.
Q2. Can students who went to Mountain View High go back to a regular high school?
Ans. Yes, students can go back to a regular school once they reach their academic or behavioral goals.
Q3. Does Mountain View High have counselors?
Ans. Yes, students get academic counseling and help to make sure they meet the requirements for graduation.
Q4. Can you use the credits you earned at Mountain View High at another school?
Ans. Yes, most of the time, academic credits can be transferred to other public schools in the same district.
Q5. Are students allowed to take tests to get into college, like the SAT?
Ans. Yes, students at Mountain View High can take the SAT and other tests that are required for college admission.
