The Woodside Learning Center at the S.F. County Court is adding more specialized classes for the 2025–2026 school year. The main goal of these programs is to get kids back to school. They will do this by having them work on a special restorative justice garden project and an outdoor cooking classroom. Two recent efforts are to add a new ethnic studies curriculum that meets state standards and hire career technical educators to teach students how to do real jobs.
Q1. Does S.F. County Court Woodside Learning Ctr support learning through practical activities?
Ans. Yes, students work on projects and do things that help them learn skills they can use in the real world.
Q2. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
Ans. Yes, S.F. County Court Woodside Learning Ctr lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.
Q3. Are there chances for peer mentoring?
Ans. Of course, yes! Older kids can teach younger kids how to be leaders, work together, and help each other.
Q4. What can students do to get help with their homework?
Ans. Tutoring, advice, and counseling help students figure things out and do well in school.
Q5. Are there programs that help kids stay fit?
Ans. Of course! S.F. County Court Woodside Learning Ctr helps students' mental, emotional, and social health by giving them counseling and wellness programs.
