About Hoover High

Hoover High is a lively public high school in the San Diego Unified School District that serves grades 9–12. It is known as one of the best schools because of its College Avenue Compact and career-focused academies. Latest News

Hoover High School just opened a new, two-story building with modern classrooms and a special college and career center. The school is now starting a new Sustainable Agriculture pathway. Students will learn by doing things in the newly expanded campus garden and greenhouse. The athletic department also celebrated the renovation of the varsity baseball field, which gave student-athletes professional-grade turf and better lighting for night games.
